Bio : Both artists were born 1972 in Tbilisi, Georgia, part of the former Soviet Union. Live and work in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Description : xvz is a pseudo scientific documentary, a game in which a group of people connect with each other using digital and electro devices, chemistry and alchemy. This piece reminds the viewer of the daily incarnations of the scientific-technological revolution doctrine and alludes to their post-communist remnants, harvested in the development of media arts. xvz (I want to know everything) – ironically refers to the Soviet TV programme for kids with the same name. The artists give an opportunity for their generation to return to their childhood and recall, with a smile, the whole absurdity of the TV programme.
