Margarita Dorvoska Is curator at InterSpace Association, Sofia. She graduated from University of Sofia, cultural studies. Since 2005 she has been managing director of Cult.bg Foundation (http://foundation.cult.bg), where she has been engaged in projects for research and development in cultural policy, advocacy and NGO consolidation. In 2006-2007 she was responsible for the management of the fund for support of emerging artists and for the development of the Cult.bg Server for arts and culture (http://cult.bg). For InterSpace Association, she is founder and curator of the residency programme since 2007, and project director of "Transitland. Video art from Central and Eastern Europe 1989-2009". Recent projects include: "Opening the Closed Shops" (2008-2009) a residency exchange; EMARE 2008 - 2009 (European Media Artists in Residency Exchange, http://www.werkleitz.de/emare) and TOSMI 2007-2009 (Training in Open Source Multimedia Intstruments, http://tosmi.org). In 2009, she will attend Curating Contemporary Art, an MA course at the Royal College of Art, London.
